Hey everyone! Welcome to the eighth iteration of Chess Chatter Challenges. If you want to see the seventh set of challenge positions then you can find them here:
And here is a video explaining the answers to the six positions from the last challenge post:
Alright, so on to challenge number eight! For this week, we will be taking a look at six positions that came from the two Spring Chess Classic tournaments that were held in St. Louis recently. The number of the puzzle and which side is to move is in the caption below each position.
In addition, Iโm including a PDF that has the six positions below. If youโd prefer to download/open/print the PDF and use that rather than solving from the blog post then thatโs an option now too:
Feel free to reply to this post in your email inbox or email me at chesschatter@substack.com with your answers. I will be posting the answers to these puzzles in next weekโs blog post.
Finally, if youโre interested in personalized online chess coaching then you should check out my website here: https://nextlevelchesscoaching.com/why-next-level-chess-coaching/
Happy solving!
Thanks! And darn, got it wrong (or rather, I totally missed the fork) ;-)
Hey Dalton, you did it again ;-). I've missed the third position of week 7 in this week's video. Could you add it next week? Or put the right answer in a comment? Thanks!
